Peacefully surrounded by love on Monday, January 20, 2025, Ian Stone of London in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Mary Jane for 56 years. Cherished father of Sari (Alon) Shatil, Z”L Mitchell Stone and Marla (Steve) Stone. Proud Papa of Levv, Mica, Jessie and Emma. Dear brother of Z”L Maxine Ordower, Z”L Morris “Skip” Goldenberg, Susan (Jack) Goldberg, Debbie (Neil) Kapp and Paul (Jo-Anne) Goldenberg. Special uncle of Alissa, Matthew, Marni, Jana, Jackie, Yisroel, Michael, Wyatt, Jake and Daisy and cousin Jeffrey Donde.
Ian’s family are grateful for the exceptional support and love from Chelsea, Brittnee and Nova.
Ian prioritized family, business and community. He loved, worked and generously gave until his last day. Ian grew a family business (Paramount Painting and Decorating) into a diverse enterprise, shaping London’s landscape. He painted much of London’s infrastructure, grew family fun at East Park London, Maple Ridge Golf and Westminster Trails and developed properties. Ian’s legacy will live on through the business partners he mentored (Neil Kapp, Alon Shatil and Dominic Desando) fostering business acumen, high character and ethical operations.
A funeral service will be held at Or Shalom Synagogue, 534 Huron Street, London, on Thursday, January 23, 2005, at 12:30 p.m., officiated by Rabbi Catherine Clark.

Interment to follow in Or Shalom Cemetery.
